KASC is seeking to elect new members to our Board of Directors.
We are currently asking for nominations for board members and need your help in finding strong candidates.

Serving on the KASC Board is unlike serving with any other organization. Meetings involve more than just decision-making for KASC. Staying up-to-date on statewide developments, new initiatives, and research keeps our board members ahead of the game. The opportunity for networking with other members across the state is an added benefit.
Current Directors say that serving on the Board is a great learning opportunity, keeping them up-to-date on the latest developments, and letting them share knowledge with council members from across the state.
Directors meet four times a year and govern the Association. Together they are responsible for:
• Determining the course of the organization
• Promoting the organization through social media
The election will be held virtually between Wednesday, May 17, 2023 through Wednesday, May, 24 2023. Member schools will be contacted by email with directions for voting as soon as polls are open.
KASC’s Board of Directors includes a parent, a teacher, and a principal from each of eight regions in Kentucky, plus six at-large seats. The regions represent the former KDE Region Service Centers. This year, 24 Directors will be elected to two-year terms ending in 2025. Member schools/councils from each region will elect the Directors for their own region as well as the At-Large Directors. All Directors must be from member schools. If you are unsure of your school’s membership, please contact our office.
